Usage of “拉踩”

The point of alienating one person is to please another. The former is the customer they want to remove, and the latter is the customer they want to increase stickiness with.

Premium customers want others to envy them, not to look down on them. If you leave people with the impression that premium customers are foolish for buying your premium product, or that you’re desperately chasing them while they treat you like you’re nobody, then you’re effectively destroying the actual interests of your premium customers.

You’re essentially throwing away profit with your own hands.

Marketing needs to figure out who it’s trying to please.
