Young People Going into Factories

Going to work in a factory doesn’t mean you’re turning screws on an assembly line. In fact, today’s manufacturing industry rarely needs pure manual labor; it primarily seeks skilled technical roles such as forklift operation, equipment maintenance, and programming industrial machinery. Labor-intensive assembly work has largely been replaced by automated robots, which is why many workers have been laid off and why manufacturing can easily relocate overseas — a modern factory can run normally with just one facility and minimal workforce. Currently, advanced manufacturing is dominated by robotic automation.
