家庭水路方案(装修净水问题)

For people from Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Tianjin, Beijing and other areas, when renovating your home, it's a good idea to boil a pot of water first to check the quality. If you notice a lot of limescale (a white layer), it basically means the water is too hard. You should consider pre-installing a water softener, otherwise hot water circulation pipes can easily accumulate scale and cause blockages or damage to plumbing and appliances. (Although hard water may contribute to kidney stones over time, its actual impact on health is minimal because when cooking, the minerals precipitate as scale onto the pot, which you can simply avoid eating.)

If conditions allow, install a three-stage pre-treatment system:

First stage: Pre-filter (not very useful in most cases; mainly removes large particulate impurities like sand, since high-rise buildings rely on water stored in community reservoirs where sediment settles)

Second stage: Water Softener (mainly softens hard water and protects downstream pipes and equipment; must be paired with softener salt)

Third stage: Water Purifier (handles local tap water quality for drinking-grade purification)

If you have a high-end purifier, it might already include softening and filtration functions. It's best to double-check before ordering. Also, research water pressure issues in high-rise buildings in advance — if water flow is weak, you may need to install a booster pump upstream.
