What Does Survival Really Mean
A company can only survive if it satisfies consumers' needs. If consumers don't have problems you need to solve, could your company exist? Without consumer demand, why would they pay you? The same logic applies to any job: every position originates from a team's needs. If there are no internal problems to solve, why would anyone pay you a salary?
A team survives because it solves consumers' problems; a person stays employed because they solve the team's problems.
No problems means no survival.
Mature people never think about how to solve humanity's problems—they think about how to leverage human flaws to solve their own problems.
The world never teaches people; it only eliminates them. The world is a selection game: if you can understand it, work hard; if you can't, accept your fate.
In the Longzhong Plan, Zhuge Liang immediately told Liu Bei what not to do and what to do—focusing on the key points, the first step, and the entry point. That's what talent looks like. Most people's communication is vague and meaningless; those who can identify problems and propose actionable solutions are truly talented.
