Who Are We?

We are merchants.

Even if you think you're not a merchant and just working for a living, you're working for merchants—you're still part of the merchant class.

What's the point of being a merchant? It's to be sold.

If clients want something, we sell it. If they want physical labor, we sell physical labor. If they want mental labor, we sell mental labor.

There's no high or low—only what can be sold and what can't.

If clients want me to give a PowerPoint presentation, I'll do it. If they want me to wash their feet right now, I'll do that too. As long as the price is right, there's nothing we can't agree on.

This is merchant thinking. Focus on whether the goal was achieved. Who cares if they praise me or curse me? They don't have my money, so what does it matter to me?

A sign of social maturity is accepting merchant thinking—accepting supply-and-demand logic. In plain terms: whoever pays the most gets your work, and you do it however they want.

The means don't matter. Only the end result does.
