Snobbery is being obsessed with your origins, unable to let go of them.

Air of superiority is being obsessed with your talents. You're talented—that's an advantage. But thinking of yourself as talented? That's a disadvantage. It increases your communication costs. Normally we could just get straight to business, but you insist I praise you first, call you a genius, a top student. Regardless of how I see you, isn't this a waste of time? In fact, it only makes people look down on you.

Spoiled behavior means being terrified that others think you have no money, or terrified that what you eat or use doesn't match your income level.

What's the best evaluation a person can receive in this life? It's "I thought you'd be like that, but you weren't." I thought you had snobbery, but you didn't; I thought you had airs, but you didn't. That's the highest praise, because it shows you've effectively managed others' expectations.
