To save 100 yuan, they left the business entity inactive. Later, when the public account expired, they had no choice but to spend a bit more to reinstate the entity.
In summary, if the upfront cost isn't too high, use an off-the-shelf solution to run the project first. Once it starts making money, then optimize—especially when it comes to qualification documents. Keep a memo (spreadsheet or todo list) tracking what's linked, what needs to be renewed, and when renewal dates are. It's worth the effort.
