The core of a person’s educational journey is learning how to learn — developing the ability to think critically, adapt, and apply knowledge. Beyond that, education shapes character, builds social awareness, and teaches resilience through challenges and failures.

In kindergarten, what do teachers primarily teach us? They teach us to develop good living habits.

In elementary school, what do teachers primarily teach us? They teach us to develop good study habits.

In middle school, what do teachers primarily teach us? They help us organize our knowledge systems and structural frameworks, then closely monitor whether we've mastered each individual concept.

What's the biggest difference in high school? Students are given more autonomy. The better the high school—especially prestigious ones—the more pronounced this becomes. Teachers start focusing only on problem types, expecting students to apply that logic to new situations. Some don't even assign homework anymore, relying instead on various unit tests to assess mastery.

In college, it's even more autonomous. What teachers teach might not be on the exam, and what's on the exam might not be taught. You only get one shot: pass the final and you're done, fail and you retake the course. From this perspective, you could say university teachers aren't responsible for you. You alone are the first responsible party for your own education.

In graduate school, after experiencing the harsh realities of those years, you learn that nobody will answer your questions. No one cares about you, no one will help you. Not stepping on you is already a grace. You have to push yourself, force yourself to grow.

Once you enter the workforce, your boss won't just refuse to answer your questions—they'll expect you to answer theirs. You shouldn't have problems; you should have solutions. A company isn't a school. No one is obligated to train you. If you deliver, you get paid. If you don't, you're out. How you go from not knowing to knowing? That's entirely your problem.

As a business owner, no one can tell you what to do to make the numbers on your balance sheet grow. No one can. You have to figure it out yourself. A founder's most common state is watching the money in the account burn, burn, burn—like a crashing plane, constantly descending. All that's left to do is try to salvage everything.

The purpose of learning is to become extraordinary—not to keep using ordinary methods to make money. The only way for an ordinary person to change their fate is to become extraordinary.
