There will always be someone willing to do it
CategoryReading Notes
It has nothing to do with whether you participate or not. Does the rooster stop crowing, and the sun no longer rises? The sun was never called forth by the rooster’s crow; it only crows because it doesn’t want to end up as chicken soup.
Many things—whether you do them or not, whether I do them or not—someone else will do them anyway. If you don’t do them, you won’t survive.
You’d rather dig your own grave proactively; maybe then you’ll have a chance to dig someone else’s. But if you hesitate even a second, someone else will be digging your grave instead.
