What you are doesn't matter. You might be broke now but soon be wealthy; you might be working full-time today but ready to launch tomorrow.

But if you're listless, dim-eyed, anxious and uncertain about your own future—no matter how much money you have or whether you're employed, sorry, capital won't bet on you. You won't even qualify for a seat at the table.
