If you don’t want to spend your life as a low-level grunt, constantly overwhelmed by being ordered around, you need a rogue mindset.
You just slap your chest and blow your own horn. You don't need to have a solid plan or any real confidence. If you succeed and gain fame in the industry, you're a legend. If you fail, you just dust off your butt and walk away, leaving everyone else to deal with the mess. Who cares if the world floods as a result?
You can talk big, but don't actually believe your own hype. You can confidently promise you'll see things through, because that's how you win opportunities. But in reality, you never intended to take responsibility.
If you care too much, you can't do big things. The more you care, the more weaknesses you have.
The bigger the venture, the more variables, the more people involved, the more interest groups, the more agendas, and the more petty schemes. What can you possibly control? You can only charge forward with boldness, regardless of the outcome.
The world is just a ragtag circus. Everyone's winging it. Instead of letting others irresponsibly boss me around, I'd rather be the one irresponsibly bossing others around. That's every man for himself.
