Investing is a very dry mathematical game
If you want to make money, you're operating with a merchant mindset; if you want comfort, you're thinking like a consumer. Look at the street vendor making a fortune selling sesame pancakes—he gets up in the middle of the night to source supplies. You hit snooze and sleep in? You're the consumer. The only way to comfortably make money is to be a scammer.
Professional traders have split personalities. Two conflicting things coexist in their heads, each running independently.
One is subjective judgment. I assess that something has a high probability of working out, so I mentally classify it as major positive news.
The other is systematic decision-making. Systematic decisions don't rely on subjective judgment—they're pure math.
