Logistics Determines the Model of War
CategoryReading Notes
For those with well-off families, going in-house or to the public sector makes sense. Stability and networking are key, while entrepreneurship may temporarily double your salary but leaves you without the connections to fall back on as you age—meaning you'll face career decisions again later, this time with no network to lean on, which ultimately doesn't help your family.
For those from less privileged backgrounds, it's better to go out there and chase immediate gains. The common advice is: whoever offers more money is who you work for. Worry about what happens after 40 when you're 40—right now, your parents' needs come first.
