Those shoes are meant for red carpets, worn only a handful of times in a lifetime, not for commuting. Their closets are full of bags, and each one is reserved for special occasions, not for daily use.

Many people give up on their villa renovations halfway through.

They completely underestimate the cost and timeline. Often, they discover mid-project that it's an endless pit of expenses. Continuing would exceed their financial means, so they push through anyway, only to lose heavily when selling the property afterward. Villa renovations are highly personalized, so the next buyer won't share your taste and won't pay top dollar for your expensive design choices. So they end up abandoning the project and cutting their losses.

This is a classic case of not understanding the situation.

Take down jackets, windbreakers, or wool sweaters—have you even checked the care instructions after buying them? If not, it's easy to run into all sorts of problems and ruin the items. (Of course, if you've bought a counterfeit, that's a whole different story.) If you don't calculate the ongoing costs of ownership before making a purchase, you'll eventually find yourself in over your head with a mess you can't handle.

When you think about it, what can most people actually do? You can only make phone calls and have platform workers come fix things.

No matter where you go, people with less money aren't going to spoil you. Because what's the essence of being spoiled? Having someone serve you. Who's going to serve you if they're broke? Serving others is fundamentally about the compensation you pay making those without means feel satisfied.
