You work the hardest and bear the heaviest burdens, yet that doesn't guarantee returns. You might have the best surgical skills and patients who adore you, but it still won't help—you'll never become hospital director because the position goes to whoever holds the most titles. That's because you never strove for fame or power throughout the entire process. The belief that "there's justice in this world" is a fairy tale told to children.
If you strive hard enough for fame and profit, you'll eventually benefit from it. The law of large numbers underlying this is the real justice.
