Self-consistent means I know the difference between thinking and garbage emotions. I only share effective thinking with my children and family; I handle garbage emotions myself.

Being self-consistent means understanding that your expectations of the world must align with your standards for yourself.

I must hold myself to a higher degree than 99% of people if I want to expect returns that exceed those of 99% of people.

I can’t be double-standard—lenient with myself but harsh on the world.

The world isn’t my mother; it doesn’t owe me anything. If I slack off for three days, pretend to work for two, and still demand the world reward me with sweetness, that’s just delusional.

This process is what we call self-consistency: your expectations must match your capabilities.
