Never say you're ordinary. If you're ordinary, just go to bed. Whether I'm hiring someone or investing in them, the first thing I want to hear is bragging. Tell me, how awesome are you? Show me everything impressive about yourself. If you're not bragging in the first minute, I'm out. I don't have time to wait. I've said this before: there are two types of resources in this world—those like Buffett and those like Cathie Wood. Buffett wants to hear how awesome your dad is. Cathie Wood wants to hear how awesome you are. You can say your dad is Li Gang, or you can say you are Li Gang. But never, ever say you're ordinary. Because if you do, all the resources will turn around and walk away.
