Would Life Without KPIs Still Be Life? Would We Devolve If We Stopped Writing Weekly and Daily Reports?
What do you want to do? What about in ten years? What about in a year? Break it down to this month, this week, down to what you're doing today. Then, what did you do in the past hour? What did you do in the past three hours?
It doesn't matter what you want to do. You tell me you want to play video games—that's totally fine.
Then we make a plan: what game are we playing, for how long, what results do we want, how do we improve, how do we review, how do we measure performance?
Some people ask, do you even have KPIs for gaming? Of course you do—life is all KPIs. If you're gaming, you better be carrying your KPIs too.
Is life even worth living without KPIs? If someone can't even manage to write daily and weekly reports, how degenerate can they get?
