Is It a Side Hustle Prison? Those Inside Want Out, Those Outside Want In

The cases mentioned in the article:

1. Tarot card reading

Market rates are 100-300 yuan per session, but many can only charge 30-50 yuan in practice. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours per session, making it a poor value for money, and there aren't many clients.

2. Tree hole companionship (emotional support chat)

It's easy to veer into inappropriate territory and become something else entirely. It may look profitable, but things could go wrong.

3. Voice acting and voice training

Basically no one succeeds at it. People pay thousands of yuan and see no results, often giving up halfway. It's simply a waste of money.

All in all, it's better to extend your main career into a side hustle, which makes it easier to close deals and gain a sense of accomplishment.
