From what I can see in the current AI landscape, most models are still foreign ones, while domestic models barely have any real applications—maybe just customer service systems at a few tech giants like Tencent. When it looks at career prospects and employment, it doesn't seem much different from other majors, if not harder to find jobs, given that AI's whole trajectory is about cutting labor through automation and self-evolving. So it's kind of a field that fires people first and then makes itself obsolete.

That said, the industry chain and talent pipeline are at least taking shape now.
