How Much Money Can You Really Make Promoting Carrier SIM Cards?

According to the policy of a certain operator in a specific province

Commission structure: Below 300 users: 40% commission.
300–3,000 users: First-month recharge equals one cycle of the package plan, 40% commission.
3,000–4,000 users (exclusive): First-month recharge equals one cycle of the package plan, 50% commission.
4,000–5,000 users (exclusive): First-month recharge equals one cycle of the package plan, 55% commission.
Above 5,000 users: First-month recharge equals one cycle of the package plan, 60% commission.
7,000 users and above: First-month recharge equals one cycle of the package plan, 70% commission.
All commissions are paid out over 24 months.

In other words, for each SIM card—excluding the first-month recharge which we don't count—using the most basic user package at ¥30/month, the commission is spread over 24 months. If a user stays for the full two years, that's ¥720 in billed phone recharges. The minimum commission is 40%, meaning each user yields nearly ¥300 in commissions, while at the top tier, it can reach ¥500.

Promoting to this many users means tens of thousands of dollars in earnings. (This is also how many franchised carrier stores make their money.)

A more reliable mobile SIM card promotion channel

If you want to partner directly with the carrier, contact the provincial branch's marketing department. If you lack resources, you can use the agent channels mentioned above. You'll earn less, but it's trustworthy.
